November 2014 Core Group Meeting in Antipolo City

     Last November 16,  the core group members met for a meeting and a birthday celebration for all the birthday celebrants. The November celebrants are Toots, Gabby, Orlan and Lee. The Meeting/celebration was held in Antipolo City at Gabby's house.

     We met first in Cubao before going to Gabby's place via service van.

          We were well received by Gabby and his family. He then gave us a tour of the house before we started praying. Gabby showed us his 2 big mandalas which we displayed during the divinity in. Also on the table were a miniature golden peace pole, 2 colorful mandala artworks by Gabby and a picture of Goi Sensei covered with divine light.

     After praying, we then went downstairs and enjoyed picture taking and a delicious lunch. Gabby's girl friend and future wife, Mitch was also there to join the celebration.

     Before going home, we again performed the divinity in outside of the house. Gabby's mother, sister and girl friend also joined the prayer. We agreed to meet again for a special Christmas get together and core group meeting this coming December 14. Advance Merry Christmas and may Peace prevail on Earth!

October 2014 Core Group Meeting at ISIS

       Last October 12, some of the core group members of MPAI gathered together at ISIS to discuss plans of action. We are also happy to have with us 2 participants of our mandala writing workshop. One of our core group members, Queenie, joined them in writing a mandala. 

September 2014 Core Group Meeting at La Sallete

       Enjoy viewing our pictures at La Sallete during our monthly core group meeting. Aside from discussing our plans in our meeting, we also performed our Divinity In as we pray may Peace Prevail on Earth. This is also a nice place to unwind.

August 2014 Core Group Meeting at ISIS

     We had another Mandala Peace Arts Initiative core group meeting last Aug 3, 2014 at ISIS and to celebrate the International Day of Peace this coming September, we shall be exhibiting some Mandalas at specified schools and universities. We shall also be open to the opportunity to hold Mandala Writing Workshops in different schools specially in schools that we will have the exhibits.

     Peace Makers, another peace NGO, will also be having a film showing from September to December. We at MPAI are also thinking of joining them in their school events. One targeted school will not only have a film showing about peace but also they'll have a mandala exhibit and a mandala writing workshop. Of course the two events may possibly happen within the same month but not necessarily the same week or the same day.
