May 2014 Core Group Meeting at ISIS

We in the core group of Mandala Peace Arts Initiative met again last May 3 and talked about the Typhoon Yolanda victims in Tacloban. Here, one of our friends, Allan, shared his experiences as a volunteer. We learned through his experiences that foreigners prefer to give help directly to the families greatly affected by the typhoon than to tap the government or even barangay officials for help in giving money and goods. Although there is a bad impression about our government officials, there are still some of us who went there and helped the best way we can expecting nothing in return.

April 2014 Core Group Meeting at ISIS

We met again last April 5 at ISIS to plan for the month and the upcoming Symphony of Peace Prayers. We also discussed about the Mandala Writing Workshops and Exhibits.
