Since we will have a Mandala exhibit this coming August and September for the International Day of Peace (IDP), National Commission for the Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and Byakko Shinko Kai in Japan, we decided to prepare as early as this month. We will be coming up with a cloth Mandala for the Philippines and Japan. Also, we will include in the exhibit, the mandala created by all of our participants in our Mandala Writing Workshops. During the exhibit,we shall also sell mandala shirts created by Gabby as a fund raising activity for Mandala Peace Arts Initiative (MPAI). Queenie and Rio will help look for a good supplier for both t-shirts and t-shirt printing. In this second printing we are considering light colored t-shirts that are not that thick. Hopefully they will be a lot cheaper.
Lastly, there are some schools and institutions that are requesting for a Mandala Writing Workshop within their place so Toots said that we can visit them either on the first Friday or the first Monday of the month so that our first weekend for the month will still be for our Mandala Writing Workshop at ISIS and for the core group meeting.
